Ownership Builds Discipline
Challenge B is a transitional year. Students begin the year as children and finish as young adults โ discovering that personal discipline is the path to genuine freedom.
Speak with a Director
Every Challenge year integrates the same six strands โ woven together by a single Director.
Pre-algebra and mathematical reasoning.
Classical scientific inquiry with an astronomy focus.
Informal and formal logic.
American history and Mock Trial preparation.
Latin language study, deepening grammar mastery.
Literature and creative writing.
In the second semester the Director and students prepare a case to be heard in a real courthouse โ students play attorneys and witnesses for both prosecution and defence. It's a transformational experience in research, argumentation, and poise under pressure.
A look at how Directors guide students through dialectic and rhetoric across the Challenge years.
